Medical Power of Attorney

What if someone you loved slipped into a coma? Maybe they told you previously they would not want to persist like that. With it spelled out in a Medical or Healthcare Power of Attorney (POA), you could make sure their wishes were upheld.

These conversations can be tough. I was able to ask in passing here and there with my mom, making it easier. What if you don’t have such a close relationship? How do you even start?
