Remember the days of Nextag.com to price compare anything? They are gone and listed in Wikipedia like a museum piece.
So what now? How to find the best price on a particular item of clothing?
At the suggestion of AARP Bulletin (99 ways to save $), I tried several websites and apps and they were all specific to amazon itself or groceries.
Then I remembered the Lyst app. Where to find the best price on a men’s bahama pfg short sleeve shirt? At first, I trolled my usual sites: Amazon $30 with a 2 mo. ship date, Kohls $34 with heroic couponing involved, ebay $31 with no returns, academy sports $30. Ah.
On Lyst, it directed me to columbia.com $30 with $20 to spend if I purchased $100. Bingo.
Shopping tools change with the speed of light, but if you’re creative, you can find some good deals.
Great post!
