How to revive year old ground coffee for your Keurig

I had a hunch and it paid off.

A year ago, I received French Richard coffee as a birthday gift. It’s my favourite coffee in the world.

I tried making it in a large format pot;fail. Bitter. The pot must have burned the coffee. Then, in my Keurig with an eco pod with a gold filter;same. The coffee sat in my Keurig pod drawer, for a year until I saw these paper keurig pod filters.

I lined the eco pod with the ekobrew paper then packed the pod tightly with about 1T grounds and set the Keurig for 4oz.

Voila. Success.

I had my joyous cup of Richard with a square of 90% cacao.

Perfect.
