I learned this years ago from Ms Orman
“Respect your money and it will respect you.”
She described doing the following exercise.
It will change the way you handle money, if you keep at it:
Take all the paper cash out of your wallet, pockets, purse, dryer (yep, go look in there!)
Put the highest denomination on the bottom
$20’s (ooo, alright!)
$10 or $5s
Then the $1s on top
Faces right side up
If you only have $1, that’s okay, right side up, uncrumpled.
Put the cash back neatly into your wallet.
How did that make you feel?
