All day at the Dr. V’s office tomorrow. Happy Monday.
Shots in my arm every 15 minutes and an IV. (The pic above is a small amount of what they did to me last week).
This is such a different approach to immunotherapy.
About 10 years ago, it was a major hassle. Shots 3x a week at the clinic with mean nurses and lack of understanding at my former workplace.
It was awful, but I got 5 years of relief from hayfever, colds and most flus until I moved to a different climate in Dallas.
I tried sublingual drops but they didn’t work as well. Dr. V explained that the drops are only 70% effective.
This way, I have 1 day of massive allergen exposure, epipen at the ready, and shots 1x a month for 2 years.
I’ll take my tablet with me and think I will begin watching Real Housewives of New Jersey and or Scandal.
